Moritz Apartments

We set out to create an ambitious sequence of spaces, rigorously detailed, that would settle into a calm and unifying backdrop for daily life. Joinery is concealed so surfaces read as one — doors and wall panelling resolve into a single plane, the complexity held behind them. Lighting is recessed throughout: the effect is visible, the source is not. What remains is a quiet sensuality in the rooms and the materials that line them, felt more than noticed.
